Website News

Due to un-desireable material posted on our website, through the forums, also there has been
around 150 spam members join the website. Because of this problem, I have chosen to do two things.

Firstly NEW members to the website will no longer be automatically admitted. New members will need to be manually admitted to the website, unfortunately this will mean that if you register to become a member of the website, you will have to wait up to 24 hours for your membership to be validated. This does not however restrict you from viewing the content of the website, this only puts a restriction on posting material to the forums.
If you find your membership has been deleted and you are a genuine RC racer, I apologise and you can re-register.

Kathy

Power Box Donation

On Sunday we received a donation of two Power Boxes, each featuring 12 switched power points, complete with protection of 3 safey switches (one for each bank of 4 power points), 3 phase circuit breaker in a package switch board, all enclosed in a powder coated heavy duty steel lockable box.

Matti managed to source the materials that were all donated by Hagermeyer Australia http://www.hagemeyerau.com/HagemeyerFord.htm

It is interesting to note that Hagermeyer via its chain of electrical outlet stores "Lawrence and Hanson" is sponsoring a V8 Supercar drven by Michael Caruso and Grent Denyer in this year's Rising Stars championship. Their latest catalogue is giving prizes of RC cars similar to the lower spec 540 ones we are using for the "Special Needs" Program.

A huge thankyou goes out to Hagermeyer Australia for the parts and to Matti for the time and effort put in to building the power boxes for our club.
